Hali’i Kai & Waikoloa Beach Resort Overview
Hali’i Kai: February brought three closed sales and two new listings to Hali’i Kai. This represents a slight increase in both new listings and closed sales for the year compared to 2014. Units 6C, 8B and 9G all closed (see the February Market Dashboard for the sale prices). The two new listings include unit 6A, a two bed, 2 bath second floor unit with 1,317 square feet, golf course and ocean views priced at $799,000. The other new listing is unit 9E, a three bed, two bath ground floor end unit with 1,403 square feet, golf course and ocean views priced at $1,145,000.
Waikoloa Beach: The Waikoloa Beach Resort in its entirety is seeing the same number of closed sales year to date as compared to 2014. With that, there has been an increase in the number of units in inventory and a higher number of days on market. Keep in mind that looking at these figures in a smaller targeted area and at such a micro level can paint a picture of extreme swings from month to month. In reality, comparing this year to last, the number of sales is staying steady and the median home price is increasing.
