Kolea & Waikoloa Beach Resort Overview
Kolea: Three closed sales in April brings 2015 sales ahead of 2014 through the first four months of the year. Officially, there have been five closed sales this year compared to four last. Units #15D, 16D and 16F were Kolea’s least expensive inventory and all closed in April (see the Market Dashboard for list and sales prices). There is currently one property listed as contingent. Details of this sale will be found on the Market Dashboard upon successful closing.
One new listing was added in April bringing the total inventory to 14 units including one lot and one detached home. The new listing is unit #16M, listed at $898,000, a penthouse level two bedroom, two bath unit with 1,554 square feet. This unit features Kolea’s famous disappearing wall of windows, vaulted ceilings, summer kitchen on the lanai and two master suites.
Waikoloa Beach: 2015 continues to outpace 2014 in regards to sales in the resort. With 11 closed sales in April, the total sales for the year is 26 compared to 22 last year. With 18 more properties currently in contingent or under contract status, the market looks to have a strong future in Waikoloa Beach Resort.
