Colony Villas & Waikoloa Beach Resort Overview
Colony Villas: Although there were no closed sales in the month of June, the first half of 2015 has been good for the Colony Villas. So far this year we’ve seen 12 closed sales compared to only five last year. The Colony Villas continue to lead the sales race for Waikoloa Beach Resort by almost a two to one margin. There were two new listings for the month. Both units are three bedroom, two and a half bathroom floorplans with 1700 square feet and located at or near the front entrance. Unit #1405 is listed at $509,000 with unit #1502 being listed at $539,000. Two units are currently under contingent status in MLS, details on those will be available on the Market Dashboard following their successful closings.
Waikoloa Beach: Real estate activities, from new listings to closed sales, have increased in the first half of 2015 when compared to the same period in 2014. Closed sales are up nearly 20% with an increase of new listing of just over 30% year to year. There are currently six properties throughout the resort that are in contingent or under contract status so the sales numbers will continue to grow.
