November brought two more closed sales in Waikoloa Beach Resort Colony Villas so the total for the year stands at 19. In addition, two units were added to pending status. As a result, Colony Villas could see 20 sales in a single year for the first time in a decade. Adding to the low inventory for the neighborhood, Unit #2103 was listed in November. It is the larger of the 2 bedroom floor plans and backs up to the main pool.
As we get closer to the end of 2015, Waikoloa Beach continues to outperform last year by about 12 percent. Inventory of active properties remains close to 90 with total new listings for the year at 144. This represents a 20 percent increase. The average days on market continues to be around 4 months which is virtually unchanged from the same time period last year.
