2015 was the best year in terms of real estate sales that Waikoloa Beach Resort Colony Villas has seen in a decade.  20 units sold over the year which doubles the number from 2014.  Median home prices continue to make a healthy climb and buyers are still seeing value in this neighborhood. December brought one closed sale along with 3 new listings.  Units 1203 and 1804 are both the larger of the 2 bedroom floor plans with 1,446 square feet and two large lanais.  Unit  #1203 is listed for $480,500 and backs to the golf course.  Unit 1804 is listed at $435,000 and is located near the tennis court.  Finally, unit 1705 is also located near the tennis court, is the larger three bedroom floor plan with 1,700 square feet and listed at $525,000.

Waikoloa Beach: 

The resort saw an increase of 15% in closed sales compared to 2014.  While some neighborhoods saw a small decrease in sales, others saw a large increase.  In addition, new listings were up 25%, average days on market was down 4% and the median sale price rose slightly.  Things aren’t slowing down in 2016.  January is proving to be a strong month so far for escrows & listings.
